From historic buildings and industrial spaces to unexpected locations with a story of their own, these hidden MICE gems offer something different for groups looking to step outside the usual event setting.
As a local DMC, we are constantly exploring the Netherlands for venues that can add that extra layer to an incentive or corporate programme. We’ve selected ten of our favourites, each with its own character, possibilities and reasons to make it onto your shortlist.
Located directly on the beach in Noordwijk, Beachclub C offers a year-round event setting with a range of flexible spaces, including the terrace, conservatory, main restaurant and Pool House, which can accommodate almost 200 guests. Set in the hills just outside Maastricht, Château Neercanne is a truly special setting for groups looking for something elegant and unexpected. This historic château offers beautifully restored rooms, terraces and its famous limestone caves, where events and dinners can be hosted in a truly atmospheric setting. Surrounded by vineyards and nature, it combines Dutch heritage with a distinctly European feel, perfect for an incentive dinner or memorable celebration outside the city.

Surrounded by the forests and dunes of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, DoubleTree by Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen offers a refreshing setting for corporate groups just outside the city. NIM Amsterdam, located on the iconic Keizersgracht canal, noffers something truly different: the feeling of having dinner at a friend’s home, right on an Amsterdam canal. This intimate and characterful venue combines the warmth of a private home with the atmosphere of a traditional Amsterdam townhouse, creating a relaxed setting for private dinners and group gatherings. It’s a great choice for smaller groups looking for an authentic, personal experience that feels far removed from a conventional restaurant or event venue.
